Ōhau Gourmet Mushrooms (Mycobio Ltd) was honoured in the 2025 Electra Business & Innovation Awards, proudly sponsored by ANZ Bank, for its leadership in sustainable and regenerative food production.
Judges described the company as “a remarkable blend of innovation, sustainability, and authenticity in food production”, commending its commitment to redefining how food is made — combining environmental responsibility, community engagement, and functional nutrition.
They highlighted:

- Exceptional innovation, from fermentation and pickling to digital tools that connect and educate.
- Regenerative growing systems achieving near-zero waste and energy efficiency.
